Russia’s gold- and currency reserves down 2.9 billion USD during last week

The Central Bank of Russia said on Thursday that the country’s gold and currency reserves are down by 2.9 billion USD during last week to a volume 406.6 billion USD per 12 June 2009.
The reserves are in total down 18.5 billion USD since 1 January 2009.
The reserves have been on 182,2 billion in the beginning of 2006, 303,9 billion in the beginning of 2007, 478,7 billion at 1 January 2008 and 427,1 billion USD at 1 January 2009. They reached their highest volume with 598,1 billion USD before the conflict with Georgia about South-Ossetia in the beginning of August 2008.
