AKVA group to deliver Cage Farm to Murmansk region

AKVA group ASA and OJSC «Russian Sea Group» announced the signing of a contract for a complete AKVA Cage Farm to be installed in the operations of Russian Sea-Aquaculture LLC in the Murmansk region. The farm will have an annual production capacity up to 5,000 tons of salmon. The contract total value stands at 25.4 MNOK and is to be delivered in the two first quarters of 2012.

For the 13th time in a row the yearly exhibition and conference"Sea. Resources. Technologies" will take place in Murmansk. This event which is specializing on fishery will take place 14-16 March 2012 in the Ice Palace in the centre of Murmansk. FLAIT Group offers - in cooperation with the organizers and the regional government - exhibition stands in the international section, including all necessary services like transport and accommodation. Social activities are also a part of the concept.
Russian tourist invasion in Finland: New Finnish visa record in Murmansk and other consulates in Russia

The Finnish consulate in Murmansk has last year issued 47 865 visas. This is a new record, reports Finland`s consul Martti Ruokoskoski in a press release. In 2010 Finland issued 29 632 visas, and in 2009 over 19 000. All four Finnish consulates in Russia issued together 1 233 826 visas in 2011.

All 150 places on the 5th International Christmas table are sold out already 2 days before the official deadline, which was set for 25 November. The big event will take place on Friday, the 2nd December. Co-organizer Ulrich Kreuzenbeck from FLAIT Group will now together with Park Inn's General Manager Eivind Dalvang try to find a solution to accommodate more guests. Those who want to participate but have not confirmed yet can register on a waiting list.

New visa record at the Finnish Consulate in Murmansk – plus 69 percent compared to 2010

Already in October, the amount of Schengen visas issued by the Finnish Consulate exceeded the number for the whole of last year. Finland's Consul Martti Ruokokoski expects that the consulate is going to make as many as 52,000 visas in 2011.

FIBA & NBA trip to Zapolyarniy and Nikel on 13 October

FIBA (Foreign Investors Business Association) and NBA (Norwegian Business Association) are organizing a joint study trip to the industrial cities of Zapolyarniy and Nikel in the border-zone to Norway on Thursday, 13 October. This trip will be carried out in cooperation with Ministry of economic development of the Murmansk region and Committee for Industrial development, ecology and nature management of the Murmansk region, which also will participate with representatives. It includes meetings with the Municipality of Zapolyarniy and Union of Entrepreneurs of the Pechenga region.
